Adi Shankaracharya on Bhagavat Gita

भगवद्गीता किञ्चिदधीता
गङ्गाजललवकणिका पीता ।
सकृदपि येन मुरारिसमर्चा
क्रियते तस्य यमेन न चर्चा ।।२०।।

Bhagavadgita Kincidadhita
Ganga Jalalavakanika Pita
Sakrdapi Yena Murarisamarca
Kriyate Tasye Yamena Na Carca

The verse is taken from Bhaja Govindam by Adi Shankaracharya

Translation

One who has studied the Bhagavat Gita a little (kinchita dhita)
Drank a drop of (lava kanika)Ganges water (Ganga Jal)
Even once 9sakrit api) worshiped the Lord Murari (Murari samarcha)
The Yamraj has no business with such person!

Meaning

Any person who has studied the Bhagavat Gita, taken a drop of water from the Ganges and worshiped Lord Krishna even once will move beyond the realm of birth and death.Lord Sri Krishna is called Murari as he killed the demon named Mura.
